Watch Out Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Watch Out

Watch out

On those killed; our lookout
Seems the same; both are sad;
You and I; Pakistan

You blame Taliban
I blame the White House
Don't wonder; have no doubt
Lift your hands; shed your eyes
Look at Sun; leap in time

Korea; north and South
Vietnam, Vietcong
Relations of Peking with Moscow

Now back in Washington
In Whitehouse
All efforts to fend us
(Capitalists and caught in)
And the foe of our foe is our kind
That's ‘Islam'

CIA is a tool with experts
Dumps money
Throws arms
Along with ideas
And ‘Koran'

Coupling; child is born
Cradled and pampered
Gets a name ‘Taliban'

Who's guilty?
I blame the parent ‘Washington'

Roads ahead rough, winding
Be careful; please watch out.
