Watching The Years Go By Poem by Ray Hansell

Watching The Years Go By

We sat and watched the sun's set
On warm summer evenings
We sat and watched the rain's fall
From our bedroom window up high
We sat and watched the days
Slowly pass us by
We watched the season's changed
Passing one by one
Together we have watched
A million setting sun's
The best thing about it all
Is that we got to do it together
