Water Poem by Tosin Abegunde

Water

Water

I passionately fear you with awe
Even though I take you while raw.
A friend indeed that keeps alive
When breath and I tend to strife.

My companion devoid of enemy
That made me fear when I merry.

While as a fish you guide my path
Else where you steam me to death

Yet you are inalienable to all men!
You made man and unmake men.

A large note fragment you occupy
Even up above the nature so high
Everywhere on earth you're spot'd
Whether pure of adulterated!
