She has a new bounce in her step
Knees were a lil shacky when she decided to step
Voice a lil squeaky when she finally yelled 'Voestek'
Now she's more confident
She can feel it rolling off her back...

Kept face for mad long
Reasons were all wrong
No regrets - please you couldn't be more wrong
Ruffled her feathers once or twice maybe even more
She took it till she decided - no more
Walked out and COMPLETELY shut that door -
Oh she KNOWS it's rolling off her back

Held on to love
Seduced by love
Fell for love
But forgot the true sense of love
Self love
Fulfilling that love
It's a scary kinda love coz it's an ALONE type of love
She had to...

She had to
Wiggle her heavy body
Snap her neck a couple o times
Throw her hands high up in the air
She had to hear that tiny voice say - yes, kcuf your fears!
She had to -
She had to love him to know what it would feel like not to
Fear made it hard to understand...
What she initially thought was 'emptyness'
Was inner peace - for her racing mind and aching heart too
She can feel it rolling off her back...

Not in a promiscious way
Free to do and say as her heart wills
She loves the fact that she can now follow the wind and not constantly look back
She loves being free
Fiery heart
Innocent eyes
She loves being her
She loves being open
She loves wanting
She loves the variety - choices are endless
She loves the possibilties
She loves the chance
