Water Works Wonders Poem by Ted Sheridan

Water Works Wonders

Rating: 5.0

I wish I could go fishing___
Out on the water
casting line and lure
into a gentle sea breeze
O' to be free as can be
not limited or restricted
by time or man
Free to bow my head and pray
for a big fish to make my day
Free to move from here to there
go anywhere the tide may take me
without having to report
to anyone other than the Lord
I wish I could go fishing___
casting my bread upon the water
It always seems to heal
my anguished soul......
