Watermarks Poem by soren Barrett

Watermarks

Tendrils of rain in rivlets of pain fall from cloud's misty eye
They send chills that stain and muddy the brain with transparent dye
Though the torrents may wane, marks remain even after they dry
So to complain it would be in vain time a new coat to buy
