Rescue mission
impossible
The territorial army,
Police, fire force
Navy, Air Force
Disaster response forces
Volunteers
everyone works
singleminded
to save every life.

heavy rains continuing
more landslides
quick muddy soil
unstable terrain
made the mission
nearly impossible.

But the collective will
of the people
made the impossible
possible.
hundreds of persons rescued
from the overflowing rivers,
from mounts of debris
from the flattened houses
from meters deep mud.

And recovered many more
hundreds of bodies
dismembered,
in just shards.
