The Juma Masjid kabristan
became the final resting place
for over forty persons;
nobody asked whether they were
Hindus, Muslims or Christians;
for, the dead have no religion.
Earlier, the Masjid had opened
its prayer hall to keep the bodies,
then to the doctors to conduct
post mortem examination,
for, the dead have no religion.
