We All Say Poem by Violet Warren

We All Say

turn the page, break away from your distractions
learn the ways to contradict the reactions
we see everyday
we know someone who has felt this way

maybe today, I can make a change
this could be the day that I'll never feel the same
would it matter if tomorrow never comes?
would you have witnessed all of my love?

time's slipping away
like the finger tips of a dieing flower
but maybe, I might start making sense
I don't want to be, like this anymore
I don't want to feel like it is a chore

sometimes the wrongs make better stories
sometimes we dropp what we're holding
cause we're not perfect
alone we're hurting
so maybe something is wrong
sometimes our hearts are threaded holy
sometimes are minds are ridden of these things
that we couldn't have seen

we all say...
