We Are Diamonds

We are diamonds
We are mountains
We are rain
We are pain
We are flowers
We are lovers
We are covers
of what we felt
and now make others feel
because do bad unto others like how they've done bad unto you is a big deal
We reveal what we are told to conceal
We are silent cries
loudly screaming
We are a galaxy of stars brightly beaming
We are a million miles
We exhaust ourselves talking about the road less traveled
we degrade our degree of greatness & leave what should be said unraveled
what's the point of knowing true north
if you can't be honest about you and your past and where both been
you are taught to leave your past behind
but live to learn that your past is your closest kin
we all know we are sitting comfortably on a pile of sin
and we hope that the day we decide to come clean
throw it all in and burn the bin
the pool of unearned grace will still be filled and forgiving
it will do us good
to know that the force that gave us life is still living
your insecurity and their blatant hater proclivity is the best kind of kilo joule energy
and now's the time to fill your cup and drink up keep running keep shinning
