That the sky is blue
That I opened my eyes to a day that's new
That my future is pure like untrampled dew
That I smile for no apparent reason
oh I smile not for them but for something far more appeasin'
That I caught the ray of the winter sun & it's got me believin'
That it's a new season beginnin'
That I'm done with the losing now it's time for the winnin'
That I know I have the voice of nothing soundin'
But you'll find me in the backyard by the roses singin'
Dreamin'
Livin'
bein'
Breathin'
Knowin'
that it is time to not give in to the world but mine

It is crystal clear
That I have enemies that I have foes
They see my grind
can't stand my shine
try to get me of their mind
Problem here is I'm one of a distinct kind
Never should've messed with my view
look at you now,
Too far in, too blind

Oh look at their faces they can't wait till the day goes
But see I know
The enemies know
Everybody knows
You are you because of the choice you made
& the life you chose
But go ahead and hate me please go ahead and hate hard
I'll be with you on the other side hustling just as hard

So it's best you be it
see it
believe it
That it...
is crystal clear
Clear that I got no fears
Clear that they've been
talkin'
sayin'
nothin'
Clear that they tried to mist my view
Clear that the I is too selfish for You
Clear that your words are empty & my ambitions are not to be fooled

Hate is too overrated and unopposed
I've always stood to believe that I am here for somethin'
Never cared_always been the opposition I suppose

Too clear

It was never about what the world said
It has always been about what I see
