We Are Embarking On Different Journeys

Rating: 5.0

We are embarking on different journeys
I am coming and you are going
I want to do but you do just for the doing
I aspire to be glad and you aim to be sad
I strive to be good and your goal is to be bad
I need to receive but you wish to deceive
Our incompatibility cannot be concealed
I want to avidly write and you want to fight
From the dark I have emerged into the light
What I like you simply dislike
It is time I tell you to take a hike!

We are embarking on different journeys
I am warm and you are cold
You are afraid and I am bold
Maybe you have never been told
I dress young and you dress old
I love to debate and I believe in faith
And that is something you underrate
I always sense impatience in your tone
You have new fantasies you have sown
I have different precious dreams of my own
While you stay stagnant in your time zone

We are embarking on different journeys
You scream and I sing like a bee
You drink coffee and I drink tea
I want to share but you just don't care
I have goodwill but you have bad feel
I like to join for a start
You need to always tear apart
I want to laugh and you want to cry
You want to walk and I want to fly
About new experiences, you moan and moan
You are not aware that with age I have grown

We are embarking on different journeys
You are always too hasty to judge
Missing the treasure that is lodged
You're careless, restless and reckless
I am selfless and my love is endless
You are jealous I am mysterious
I find you ever so damn serious
Now and then I let down my hair
But that is something you cannot bear
We are very different and I am indifferent
That you fail to see that I am magnificent
