We are only teens,
we don't see life in your eyes,
we have our own personallity,
we have our own opinion,
we can't always be perfect,
like you want us to.
We want to have fun,
we make our mistakes,
but what can you say
we are only teens.
We don't always do what you say,
we don't always follow through to what we say,
we can't always be your little baby.
But we can always be your growing child.
You say we're growing up to fast,
but we always think not fast enough,
we hope you're proud of us in whatever we do,
we hope you support our every move.
But we are only teens.
We keep stuff hidden from you,
we lock it up in a safe in our hearts.
We tell our friends whats going on,
but we keep it from you.
We are only teens.
You say you were a kid once,
and you know what we're going through,
but life has gotten more complicated,
so we keep a lot more from you.
But all in all we love you so,
and we say we do everyday,
but to keep our hidden tears behind our soul,
cause we have a lot more to say.
But what else can you say
we are only teens,
what did you expect?

I would like to translate this poem
It is teeny- the idea of the teen is nicely expressed. Love it.
