We Can Be Healed Poem by Frank (Black) Blacharczyk

We Can Be Healed

There was famine in the souls of men
Hearts having failed everything that was
Was turned upside down by fact or fiction
Made and created by fighting for the throne

Unbelief spread like a virus, contagious
Its truth or so it is believed at any cost
There is a little Cain in all of us don't you know
And the kiss by Judas buried but comes to life
In all of us when the stage is on ours
With a kiss we betrayed an innocent man
And with a kiss this man was taken to his accusers
Beaten mocked and wounded by unbelief
Our jealousy denial and fear sent him to die
But by His wounds and the empty tomb
Mary knows Mary was the first to see
We can be healed
