We Cannot Agree Poem by Greg Gaul

We Cannot Agree

We cannot truly all agree.
Tall talk of freedoms free and fair
or ones that we will never see -
toss them all about everywhere.

Sharing equal rights makes us fuss,
trip over egos in the rough.
Then who will save the least of us,
when we find enough is enough?

Queries affront reality:
women's birth rights are just their own,
no law from one sole deity.
Should science rule our earth alone?

So many issues flow and sway,
let us pray for some kinder way.
