We Don'T Hear It Anymore (Even More Haiku Exercises) Poem by Maria Williams

We Don'T Hear It Anymore (Even More Haiku Exercises)

1.
A laugh like sunshine
We don't hear it anymore
Only broken bells

2.
Lovely yellow slide
Reaching up high to the grass
Falling to the clouds

3.
Honest and unique
Understanding at its best
Hopeless fantasy

4.
Breeze brushing my hair
Floating through open windows
Hope slips inside, too

5.
Sorting through her thoughts
She hates the word loneliness
The air between syllables frightens her
(Edit: This one isn't really a haiku, I couldn't get the last line to work)
