We Grieve For The Times Of Our Life

WE GRIEVE FOR THE TIMES OF OUR LIFE

We not only grieve for the people we have lost
We grieve for times of our life
No longer here
For ways we were
That will never be again
We live and give ourselves
And lose ourselves in the giving
Time passes
And all are various selves vanish
And are betrayed
We mourn for ourselves also
And all we were
And will never be again
With infinite sadness
We read on our successive deaths
And know we will never be
All that we are at once
And all we have been- now.
