We Have At Least One Story To Share Poem by Hebert Logerie

We Have At Least One Story To Share

At least, we all have one story to tell.
We, without a doubt, can share one tale.
My father was an unpublished poet.
Poetry was his love, his friendly pet.
My mother is an unpublished story-teller.
She loves to express herself, to speak to strangers,
Make them laugh, make them behave like good neighbors.
Say hello to everyone; let's talk to each other,
And make our world a friendlier place.
Put a smile on your neighbor's face,
And you will have a safer neighborhood.
Be free; remove the make-up and the hood.
Open your ears to enjoy a wonderful story.
Open your heart to welcome an unforgettable smile.
We are all beautiful; we all have an exquisite style.
We all have a personal story, a unique history.
It is not a crime to publish your thoughts and feelings.
Yes, it is acceptable to self-publish your poems.
A self-published Poet may have already won the Nobel Prize.
Think deep about this; the sun does not really rise.
This is a world of confusion and natural intoxication,
That's why we must use all types of communication.
Yes, it is acceptable to self-publish your poems.
One day, another self-published Poet will win the Nobel Prize,
In Literature,
For Mother Nature.
Share your thoughts; do not be afraid to tell your story.
You are special; you have a unique history.
