Would you like to join me for a walk?
I'd like the company.
Saw a photo in a magazine,
inviting you and me.
Don't know exactly where it is,
we'll walk a while and rest a bit.
It's such a pretty, peaceful place,
we'll walk until we find it.
A tranquil path lined with fence,
a meadow on each side;
the smell of pine trees in the air,
where love and calm abide.
Have no idea where it's at,
we'll walk and then we'll sit;
rest our weary legs,
then walk until we find it.
Mountains in the distance,
and a sky of pretty blue;
the Creator's beauty all around,
inviting me and you.
I know exactly where it is,
won't have to walk that far.
There's pretty places just like this,
not far from where we are.
