We Need Him Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

From the moment we wake up,
Till the time we go to bed,
We expect to reap the benefits
Of Goodness and be blessed.

For every waking minute,
As we live our daily lives,
We hope bad will not happen,
Or take us by surprise.

We undertake our tasks,
Allotted by HIM On High,
We try to make them meaningful,
And with pleasure, them enjoy.

When things go wrong we pray,
Hopefully, not every day,
That with HIS help we’ll find
A Solution to come our way.

But we must always remember,
To have Faith in HIM, and Trust,
And be forever mindful
Of the need HE has for us.
