We Remember Miss World Poem by Joyce Hemsley

We Remember Miss World

Her great beauty gradually faded
She once had such fabulous hair
Blonde, beautiful and splendid
Compliments floated on air.

On elegance she always depended
Once she had more than her share!
Until three score years descended
But sweet memories linger there.

'Modesty' she humbly befriended
Never more to win a first prize
The fans will never forget her
Miss World with the sparkling eyes.
