We Remember You, Dear Mom. Poem by Dr John Celes

We Remember You, Dear Mom.

Four years ago, today,
Our mother passed away!
She had a sudden death,
Performing well since birth.

Her duties, she did well,
And this, we children tell;
Her love and care were fine,
For which we still do pine.

God gave her grace of age,
She was a mom and sage;
She taught us holiness,
And kept us from life’s mess.

Oh, what a mighty soul!
She did a greater role
Than what she was to do,
And gave each feet, a shoe.

The void she left remains;
She kept us in our lanes;
What will-power she had!
She made each one so glad.

Dear mother, you’re no more!
We’re knocking heaven’s door,
To give both parents rest,
With souls in grace-light dressed!

We all will meet you soon;
You were our lovely moon;
You’ve gone to meet the Son,
Who proved, we all have won.

Lovingly dedicated to our beloved mom

A loving, moving tribute to your Mom. Will be 10 years 12/23 since my Mom passed and will forever think of her every day. How can one not think of the most important person who was ever in their life? Such a nicely written poem!
