We Were Created

We were created to know our Creator
Thank you Father for this
You love us with an everlasting love
And our soul's can live in bliss
Sinners we are.. yes!
But You have given a Saviour
If we would but repent of our sin
We can live within your favor

Your Word lays it out so well
Just how we can be saved
And have the victory over our greatest enemy
Victory over the grave
Satan is already defeated
He has been from the get go
Still he tries to twart every effort
Towards the Salvation of a soul

In the days of thy youth know Thy Creator
Be still and seek the Lord
Enjoy the bounty of His beautiful Creation
Enjoy the blessings found in His Word
Maybe you've never heard it before
But you are going to be judged one day
By ever Word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God
I think that's important...I'll say!

So what's holding you back from knowing Him
Change that to (Who) ...I might add
Remember the devil goes about as a roaring lion
Seeking to whom he can bring destruction too...sad! ! !
Hey! ...you're awake today...right? ! ! !
Why not begin your path
today towards God
Who is plentious in mercy and in grace
Longsuffering so that you might find Him in the Word

Give yourself a challenge today
God with your help I will read
I will start with the New Testament at first
God you know my heart's deepest need
Help me Lord to keep at it faithfully
Until I have read it all the way through
The devil's not going to hold me back
From finding true Friendship in You! ! !

What excuse will the devil give you today
That so easily turns you aside
Maybe you even add to the equation too
By exerting your station of pride
Humble yourself in the sight of the Lord
And He will lift you up
Drink! ...drink! ..from the Word's fountain of blessings...
Drink from Salvation's Cup!

Drnk! ...drink! ...from the Word's

Drink from Salvation's Cup!
