As if he was not invited
The issue was his and he ought to decide
Yet, he said nothing
Only laying there still and cold
As if it was not meant for him
Dad did not come to the dining table
His best food was there for him to eat
It was just there; we had to pack it up
As if he wanted us all to cry
We look at him; he never bothered to look back
He was never like that
He loved us, but we still had to cry for him
As if he was finished with us; no he was not
He has left us without taking a thing
We all owe him everything
He has left us and we will forever miss him.
