Weapon With Mankind Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Weapon With Mankind

Rating: 5.0

Smile is biggest weapon with mankind
Go any where in world and you may find its unique kind
Eyes may speak and convey what actually you want
You need not tell what you want and what you don't

Why is it so difficult in foreign land?
When they are unfamiliar with our customs and try to be friends
Language definitely becomes barrier but proves of little hindrance
They accustom to our need and adjust fast at once

Some of the nationals may act hostile too
Their political links and past struggles forbid to
Yet financial consideration compel them to be friendly
Tourists and travelers mingle with them and exchange readily

It is nice to pay regular visits to some of the countries
It is one of the rarest experiences to exchange pleasantries
Not only countries come close but share the valuable information
That can lead to cementing the foundation with strong relation

We are tolerant society
We easily adapt to any system even if found hostile or not easy
Many countries employ rigid stand on the name of patriotism
Yet in silence too they find some kind touch of humanism

You wear good smile and your half work may be done
The favorable wind may flow and suspicion might be gone
It is man to man contact and has no bearing on past history
Leaders spoil the atmosphere but population remain least concerned with worry
