Wear out thy coat

By; Habib Ibrahim

So mirthful this guy grows
As suns close light send
Newer morrows twitter & sway
As early as dawn spread,
New heart, new veins blow
New eyes mirthfully can behold.
Pick roses & white daffodils,
My life is full of hope.

To sweep away old chagrin
Casted on me by a witch wife
That saddened & sickened me long
As dark as a storm she swept
The witch wife lamed my life
And turned my days all dark
And left traces of sorrow
From time to time aches

God picked me away and sway
Almighty softened my life through
A tender lass He gave.

With candles all around me she approached
And touched forehead, healing my pains
My heart pulsed out the former(Oh) s
My chest new splendor breathed.
Days turned the worst pages & ate up the aching past
To enjoy a new life and heal the wounds
Along before that cut the poor heart.
The new grains wear out the coats
And send their roots to new lands.
To grow with the eyes of love
For all the days & nights.
