Wedding Rose Poem by Ojeikpo Elijah

Wedding Rose

A wedding rose, so pure and white
On this special day, such a sight
Bathed in sunlight, shining bright
Love and happiness, in every petal's right
With each delicate bud, a story told
Of two hearts intertwined, forever bold
A promise made, in a love so old
A tale of true love, to be forever told
In the hands of the bride, it rests with grace
A symbol of love, in this sacred place
A new chapter begins, with a gentle embrace
As two souls unite, in an eternal embrace
The groom presents it, with trembling hands
A ring of gold, and a love that expands
With every kiss, a promise stands
To love and cherish, in every land
As the wedding rose, now becomes one
With the vows exchanged, and the union begun
It speaks of a love, that'll never be undone
A bond so strong, in the eyes of everyone
It will bloom and grow, in the years to come
Reminding them of this day, under the sun
A symbol of love, that'll never be outdone
A wedding rose, forever to be the one.
