Wedlock
In meeting Leonard
-we spoke, good, for long
-I asked him questions and
-too humble, he replied
-everything on table
-was true, cordial
I praised his works; all
-paintings and research
-till, got to Mona Liza.
-He looked on
-as if eyes carved skies.
-We reached to his parents,
-date, place, of his birth.
He spoke of before and his make
- "This is how was conceived."
"My parents not married;
-was born out of wedlock! "
"My parents not married;
-was born out of wedlock! "
"My parents not married;
-was born out of wedlock! "
This echoed many times;
-sounded bells and choir
-of crowd Sunday-Church.
-Altar was the stage, music.
-I stared at halo in paintings
-with garments, (partially)
-in maroon, silver, gold.
Now, alone, without him,
-I hear the same thing.
"My parents not married;
-was born out of wedlock! "
"My parents not married;
-was born out of wedlock! "
"My parents not married;
-was born out of wedlock! "
Looking deep, can't find him.
-Want to talk, comfort him:
- "Same was done among, by
-the Royals; and mankind…"
Meant to give examples
-as deep as Earth-Centre.
Wanted to talk of books
-which are taught in the church;
-of Adam and of Eve
- (though I don't believe in; example.)
Coupled were sisters with
-twin-born brothers…
- "This is what the church calls:
-Adultery, Adultery, Adultery."
Words remain, and became sediment
- (at seabed of my mouth and my mind.)
"Hey Leo, Royals too, are the same!
-They married not for love, nor for life
-but to keep positions and their names;
-look into history of London and the girls
-engaged when still were in cribs;
-husbands changed, changed, changed
-to keep and protect the crown…"
So, royals are bastards
All royals are bastards
All royals are bastards
This tune rang in head till I read
- "Father sold his daughter for bag of…"
What a life! The poor too, are bastards…
