WEEKS AND YEARS BECAME AEONS AND AEONS Poem by Jan Lauwereyns

WEEKS AND YEARS BECAME AEONS AND AEONS

The man was young had lots of courage lots of strength had
a dog too that guided him to scents clear

hints of her his lovely who would look at him and seem

he sang and strummed the blue guitar
things changed abridged almost recovered

something that gave blood warmth children walking

silly yellow hats above their happy faces
just making lots of noise while off to see

great big fish and sharks in aquariums today

and tomorrow here and everywhere the man
began to think and loved her sang and knew.
