We'll Meet Again Sometime Poem by Colin Coplin

We'll Meet Again Sometime

Rating: 4.0

There's never a good time to part
Every choice that we have, always tears at the heart
But if I had my way, I'd choose Autumn in May
And let the breeze blow the leaves
To hide the tears in my heart
For me that's a good time to part

There's never a good time to say goodbye
Every way that I know only makes me cry
No amount of love that we shared
Can describe what we had
So I won't even try, to find a better word than goodbye
Unless it's "we'll meet again sometime"

Search the pages for a photograph
Gather the pieces to a broken heart
Keep the memories inside of you
We'll meet again sometime, it's true

Search the pages for a photograph
Gather the pieces to a broken heart
Keep the memories warm inside of you
We'll meet again sometime, it's true

There's never a good time to part
Every choice that we have, always tears at the heart
But if I had my way, I'd choose Autumn in May
And let the breeze blow the leaves
To hide the tears in my heart
For me that's a good time to part
