Wen, New Poem by Grace Galeon

Wen, New

Rating: 5.0

Many times I walked down the streets with him on my mind
A smile would crease on my face and tears would flow down
How can a beautiful memory be so painful in a span of time?

Often times I stumble to places with him on my mind
If it was the aesthetic moments of our life, I'd wish him around
How I thought I'd never be over a love that was bloomed in my youth

Today and always, I'll walk with you by my side hand in hand
As you constantly remind me how wonderful love can be
How little things can be splendid when you're with the right person

You're no figment of a brokenhearted's imagination; you happened
Facing realities and life goals instead of fantasizing fairytales
I thank God for giving me you, K.
