What A Difference A Year Can Make Poem by Alan W. Jankowski

What A Difference A Year Can Make

Rating: 5.0

Nothing in life is guaranteed,
Of this lesson I should take heed,
For what life gives it can surely take,
What a difference a year can make.

A year ago I was standing tall,
It seemed as though I had it all,
Somehow though my luck had turned,
I consider it a lesson learned.

Failure is hard, but so is success,
Too many drown in their own excess,
But no matter what, my spirit won't break,
What a difference a year can make.

Failure is hard, but so is success, Too many drown in their own excess, - Much impressed by the poem...Drastic change in life is not always a blessing.
