What Am I? Poem by Lauren Michelle

What Am I?

I am a girl on my way to becoming a woman.
I am a human being with the right to be in this world.
I am a writer, artist, singer in my mentality.
I am a sister and a daughter. I am a cousin, a niece, a granddaughter.
I am a friend. I am an equal in an indestructible union.
I am an intellectual, a truth-seeker, a romantic, a dreamer. I am an inquisitive, always questioning always wondering.
I am an unfaithful child of God. I am a believer and a nonbeliever rolled in one.
I am a humanitarian, I am a fighter.
I am a conservative liberal.
I am a product of a normal home with irregular outcomes.
I am an explorer, a wander, a nomad.
I am an idle student but a vigorous caretaker, devotee, lover, friend, and confidant.
I am a loner, a radical rebel in my own, a conformist, a follower.
I am a social butterfly, I am an introvert.
I am a health nut, I am a lover of bread, pasta, cheese, butter, and chocolate.
I am a physically pure, mentally impure young woman.
I am full of faith, and I am a critic of the Bible.
I am an adventurer, I am a hermit.
I am a coordinator, I am a mess.
I am a complete contradiction. A human antonym.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Hey, I'm the author of this 'poem' of sorts. I know it isn't really a 'poem poem'. I just wanted to get my thoughts down, or I would have drove myself insane. So yea, it isn't really in a certain format I guess, by I enjoyed the flow, and the 'point', if you will, of the whole thing.
