'What Are Friends? ' Poem by Christopher Schlosser

Friends are those special people in life,
Always there for you by your side.
Friends bring cheers to you,
Whenever you've lost your pride.

They keep in touch with you,
Never leaving without a trace.
They share with your laughter,
Putting a smile on your face.

Friends are that comforting shoulder,
Drying away those heartfelt tears.
Friends are there for you listening,
Always with wide open ears.

They excite your life without boredom,
Opening doors to new events.
They read you like an open book,
Together you make sense.

Friends are those sweet scented roses,
Everlasting til' the day they die.
In search of that special person,
Will you be the one to reply.
