What Are You? Poem by Babalola Augustine Adeola

What Are You?

Rating: 0.5

Everybody loves you,
fighting every battle to have you.
In ways we think we know best.
The beautifull and the ugly,
the weak and the strong.
Not minding our brothers
whose corpse littered the battle ground

You stand on the platform,
embeded on the heart of everyman,
which makes him go gaga...
and is retina housing you.
The gods of many who pledges their souls to you
and the foot mat of those who sees you as fate.

You control everything in our world,
and mishandling you,
is a straight visa to hell.
You are found everywhere,
and not even enough to cure the urge of a single man

the prophets wrote about you...
The bedrock of every ills...
You are so sweet with so much venom,
beautifull in so much ugliness.

I pray to have you,
but prayed more that, me you don't have.

Money...
