What Could I See? Poem by Edwina Reizer

What Could I See?

Where I go you go too
and see with your eyes what I see.
And if it ever comes about
I have to travel alone without thee,
then I shall always stay at home
and leave to others all other sights.
For all the world has nothing for me
in daytime or in nights.
Without you viewing the same things
I'd rather see nothing at all.
For what could I see to elate my eyes?
Nothing that I can recall.
