What did i do with my time on earth?
What did i do?
I spent most of my teen life chasing after woman
Got them pregnant with kids i could not feed
Got a job the salary i had could not help
Went straight to the bank to borrow money i did not have
Got to buy thinks i did not need
Forgot things i should have thought about
I even started drinking money i did not have
Then i got old
Asked myself 'what did i do with my time'
Where did i go wrong?
Wanted to go back to where it all started
Funny i never got the answer
I could only get more questions then answers
What did i do with my time?
All my friends were married
Other were married for the second time
Kids growing
People talking
What did i really do?
I did what i was not here to do
That is to look at fruitful things i did not need
Like having babies at a younger age
Drinking beer i did not need
Instead of being at church on Sunday
I was at the bar trying to stop the headache.
I did nothing with my time
