Is it someone who’s there for you?
Until the very end

Maybe it takes someone special
Somebody brave and kind
What if it’s someone clever?
Somebody pure of mind

A friend is strong and caring
A friend you are to me
A friend is someone thoughtful
A friend is you, you see.

You’ve helped me to see the beauty,
That’s present in every star
I think you’ve really helped me,
One day you will go far

You’ve put a smile on my face,
And helped when I was sad
You’ve been here through everything
Even when things were bad

A friend is always there for you
A friend through thick and thin
A friend is a form of angel
To solve every problem you’re in

Friendship alone is difficult
But two can make it strong
When friends are very close
You really can’t go wrong

Loving you is easy
I promise what I say is true
If you hadn’t come to Carrie’s
There’d be no me and you.

I love my best friend dearly
She makes everything okay
