What Have I Done - Poem by Sumpter Carter

What have I done
That's what I must know
It's what I need find
The seeds I have sown.

The past begins to catch up
Something I cannot resist
Again my defenses give way
My heart for the world displays.

God give me strength, give me courage
Give me will to overcome
There is nothing I'd rather be
Than yours my Saviour.

What can I do?
But to honor You.
