What He Is Poem by Camille Soberano

What He Is

Rating: 5.0

I thought we share the same dream
Later I realized we have different mean
We met at school, he made a memorable scene
It's hilarious, you should have seen

Because of that I always find him interesting
Everything he do, say and act is worth remembering
He was a simple person who only desires learning
Isn't that a friend worth having

That was my first impression of him
After that I endured a lot of shame with him
Decisions at this age are never done in a whim
But I know, when he's around, there is no road that's dim

I get to know him better
When he works and talks without a fetter
He was never a bad influence nor a goal-getter
But I never expected that he was a player

Right now, we're all over the world
But life has always been so cold
For he never write nor called
Now there's no story to be told

What he is, I really don't know
What he is, a friend or a foe
What I can remember is he cried like a doe
And he has always treated people
Now matter how high or low

It reminds me more, I must tell
Wisdom from him, 'tings' like a bell
When he speaks, you can just quell
For he always say, 'You can do it well.'
