I Love You Poem by Camille Soberano

I Love You

Rating: 4.5

I love you
Sounds so final to me
Sometimes it scares me
Sometimes it embarrasses me
I can't fathom saying it to thee

I know, I know
These are words that encourage affections
The single word that makes my mind blow
I know, yeah, I know
Someday, I must really try to mention
It's something worth consideration

But still I love you
Feels like an ending to me
How can I say it so casually?
When even thinking of it, frightens me.

I must find ways to express
But maybe, love just conquers the rest?
Trust me, there are other ways, I can convey
But maybe love was just there running your way?

How many times do you have to question?
How many times do you have to check?
And how many times do you have to walk back
Love, I assure you, is always there, and will always be
The best thing about it, love is where you want it to be
