What He Said Poem by Randy McClave

What He Said

I was a proud draft dodger
Now I am an old codger,
I am also known as a traitor
Now I wanna be a dictator.

I am a billionaire
About your finances I don't really care,
When I need money for my attorneys fee
The middle-class send their money to me.

I don't go to church
I cannot recite one Bible verse,
And this fact I will continually gloat
The Christians will always give me their vote.

I never did built a Mexican paid wall,
As I had promised which you do recall,
And I never created a better healthcare plan
For every American child, woman and man.

I said that Covid would disappear
I said what all my followers wanted to hear,
But, once again I lied
Now many people because of me had died.

I know more than what anyone else knows
I know as much as God I suppose,
And when I say I'm as smart as a king
I later prove that I know nothing.

I am a great and smart businessman
And I always have the answer and a great business plan,
I have filed for bankruptcy seven times
Now, I am being charged with the Rico crimes.
