What I See When I Look At The Sun And The Moon Poem by Waltzing Mouse

What I See When I Look At The Sun And The Moon

The sun drips gold
A chunk of melting butter
Seeping onto the blue sky
Like an ice cube it floats
Suspended in water
It glides silently

The moon winks seductively
A silver pool of desire
It touches the dark ground
With shimmering fingertips
Flitting between the trees
Soft like a pleasant dream
