I want to be happy
I need to be free
Put the past behind me
I can choose what I want to be.

I want to get better
Keep my illness under control
Keep my head up high
I have made the decision NOT to die!

I want to be loved
I need someone to care for me
I need to get myself out of debt
I'm going to live with Dad, that I don't regret.

I want to feel safe
I need to stop punishing myself
Now I'm on the right medication
All I need now is a summer vacation.

I want to travel the world
I want to help others like me
I need to start eating
There is more to life than abuse and beating!
