What I Would Give To Make You Mine Poem by Anand Rai

What I Would Give To Make You Mine

The sweetest smile that sweetens even the bitterest fruit,
It curves to the left side and breaks my heart,
And when she laughs, it’s like the world’s suddenly beautiful,
Oh! What I would give to make you mine

The way she looks at me and nods her head,
And laughs at every silly joke I tell,
Her innocent looks and her brazen face, breathes in me, life again
Oh what I would give to make you mine

I wish I was the wind blowing on her hair
Or the water that she washes her face so fair
Maybe the dream she sees every night
Oh What I would be to make you mine

I want to be the romantic movie she watches and the shoulder she cries on,
The soothing song she listens on air
And the pillow she lays her head on,
Oh what I do to make you mine

You are the first thing on my mind
I miss you more than my heart misses a beat
And the last thing I see is you in my bed
Oh what I would do now that you are mine.
