What If Poem by Gary Ware

What If

This world we live in is a wonderful place.
The trees the air the skies and lakes.
All the animals that roam around.
The harmony that can be found.
That is until along came man.
Who ravaged and raped this beautiful land.
All in the name of corporate greed.
To prop up our ailing economies.
Unless we change our selfish ways.
All of this will be lost someday.
Gone forever never to be seen.
By generations that will come to be.
