What If We Finally Met Poem by john tiong chunghoo

What If We Finally Met

what when we finally meet
it's cold like winter
between me and you
a mere stone to reflect
the wonderful time
we have for each other

and my words like summer wind
sailing the warm expanse of
your bossom
i will send a smile that refracts tears
from another realm

bear with me, bear with me
bear with the drizzle, the drizzle
bear with the hands of nature
as they turn the wheel of fate
