Love is the burning desire to fuse your heart with that of another. To give them full control over you. With love two people can rip, tear, and shred each other's hearts. Only to have all of that forgotten in a moment's embrace. Love fuels the body and mind to do anything for that person, but love also brings a certain hatred into play.
Love can cause two people to come together as one. Without love this contact is purely physical. With love this contact feels as if your hearts beat to the same drum; while your minds connect and you think of nothing else but that person. When that's all over the pain starts again, for there can never be happiness without pain. Each moment of bliss is bombarded by poison darts of anger.
Without love we as a people cannot survive, but with love are we any better suited? So what is love? Love is a disease that kills slowly, deliberately, and painfully. Love is also a sweet, gentle kiss that lingers long after the moment passes. Love is also the nostalgic aroma of a time when love reigned true. So is love a friend or a foe?
What i would give to know that answer, but that is not meant for us to discover. Because knowing of love would be knowing the key to love and in turn happiness. For love is where everything begins and where everything ends.
