What is love? ? ?
And why is it so important? ?
Why do some people dir for it
Whereas some others live for it? ? ?
It is always confusing…
Is it being treated the way we want
By the other person?
Or is it just a never ending search
For all the ideal qualities in a single person?
Is it found in best friends?
Or found in life partners?

Few say it is knowing the person
Well enough to want to spend the rest of your life with…
While few say it is mere attraction
And there is nothing such as love which exists…
And Yet some others say
It is a boat
Which helps in sailing
Through life's ups and downs together…

What is love? ?
Is it understanding and caring for each other?
Or is it an extremely personal thing
That can only be shared
With that one special person in your life?

Few say it is being together…
Few add saying it is being happy
About being together…
Few say it is being one while
Existing as two different people…

Does love happen purely
At an emotional level? ?
Or is there a physical attachment also?
Or is it as simple as loving and being loved…

Few say it is all about loyalty…
A virtue that's hard to find…
While few say it's a commitment
We make to ourselves..
Few say love is a companionship
For a life time..

A never ending passion that stirs up the lives..
Love sounds so simple and everyone seems to know about it…
But when I tried to figure out myself
What exactly love is,
I realized it is different for everyone..
And that it can only be felt and experienced..
It cannot be learnt or taught..
Everyone has different encounters with love..
And that's what makes it so profound
Yet so simple…
And There's lot more to be explored……! !
