Can’t just
Stop
and listen.
Can’t just
Stop
Going
back,
back,
back
to point
Out
what is missing.
Words fly; eyes cry; mouths lie and hearts die
as we each threaten to pull the plug.
Can’t try; questions – why? Heads fried; tongues-tied -
the only thing I want is a hug.
